Past and present. Milestones:
Geolink started business in 1989 in Moscow, Russia. At the first stage (years 1989-1992) Geolink focused its major efforts on the development of software tools for hydrogeological information management and mathematical modeling.
In the years of 1993-1995 Geolink's business expanded and advanced progressively. Along with continuing software development, creation of information systems by governmental and private orders and execution of projects on underground hydrosphere investigations became the strategic directions of company activity.
In 1996 Geolink started two fresh lines of business - distribution of factory automation products and risk assessment and civil engineering investigations.
In 1999 - 2001 Geolink continues to expand and diversify its lines of activity. Leaning on the experience gathered by large software system development Geolink entered a new phase of business - outsourcing software development by orders of various customers. Worthy of mention is another new business line - Electronic Design services.
Community involvement:
- Geolink extends its patronage to the "League of schools" - Moscow secondary school for gifted children. Our support includes financing of travels and research expeditions, managerial help etc.
- Financial backing to competitions in slalom racing, water rodeo and whitewater rafting.
